Dr. Greg Waltermire
Senior Pastor
Pastor Greg has served at FBC since 2020. He and his wife, Beth Ann, have four grown children.
Greg considers himself to be generally boring but enjoys his dogs, fast food, and a trip to the theatre to watch or to act. Feel free to contact him at gwaltermire@fbchigsprings.org.

Worship Pastor
Bro. Tim has served at First Baptist for over 25 years. He leads our choirs and senior adult activities.
David Janaro
Student Pastor
David has a heart for mentoring and impacting the next generation to love truth, follow Christ, and engage the culture. His doctorate in apologetics, certification in biblical counseling (ACBC), and over 15 years of pastoral experience have uniquely prepared him for his calling to serve students.
David and his wife, Cheryl, have been married 23 years and have two sons, Micah (17), and Josiah (14).
Paul Pourciau
Director of Children's Ministries
Paul is originally from Denham Springs, Louisiana, just outside of Baton Rouge, and has lived in Florida since 2024. He married his wife, Julia, in December of 2025.
He has spent years serving as a Student Pastor, which led to a strong passion for children’s ministry and the importance of building a solid foundation in the Gospel during a child’s early years. He is committed to creating engaging and meaningful environments where kids can encounter Christ and develop a lasting faith.
Outside of church, he can most often be found spending time with his dogs or watching sports.
Shoran Potter
First Christian Academy Administrator
Shoran committed her life to Christ in 1992 and immediately felt a calling to Christian education. She began teaching in 1994 and today serves as the Administrator of First Christian Academy. Along the way, she met her wonderful husband (Mike) and together they have two grown children. Mike and Shoran enjoy traveling and sampling new foods. Shoran also enjoys reading and art.
When not serving the Lord through Christian education, you can find Shoran ministering to women of all ages through our school and church communities
